MUSEUMS and Galleries

LATES. RESIDENCIES. PERFORMANCE

Ben specialises in using narrative to allow audiences to widen their perception of artefacts, concepts and places in new ways through the prism of stories.

Ben works regularly for the education, events and outreach departments of major museum and galleries, as well as smaller regional museums and heritage sites.

He co-curated Wild Ones, a Friday Late Spectacular for the Wellcome Collection; He’s a regular artist for the British Museum’s sleep-over programme, and he has led residencies with the Silk Road Ensemble at The Art Institute of Chicago, The Rietberg Museum, Zurich, The Peabody Essex Museum, Salem Massachusetts.

Ben can research and creative narratives to attach to any object or place, according to a brief set by the organisation or through the Artist in Residence brief of ‘helping people to perceive the world through the eyes of an artist’.
