Ben is Honorary Professor of storytelling at Berlin’s University of the Arts, where he teaches students of performance, pedagogy, and opera. He directs new commissions, working exclusively with traditional narrative material and with a particular focus on the function of imagination in storytelling, composition and improvised lanaguge, the relationship between speech and gesture, and the use of space in performance.

Ben also teaches librarians, educators, tour guides, gallery assistants, parents, grandparents, and all sorts of other people with a professional, semi or non-professional interest in telling stories. Contact Ben...
